Review by hotel critic
Nestled in Dniprovskyj along the Dnieper River, Hotel Fregat offers a unique blend of comfort and nature, providing a cozy feel amidst a forest setting next to a fun park. The hotel's 'log cabin' style exudes a charming ambiance, with a picturesque view of the river. The room we stayed in was very nice, clean, and comfortable, featuring soundproof walls and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The highlights included a balcony overlooking the serene river, adding a touch of tranquility to the stay. The Fregat Restaurant served up delicious Ukrainian and European cuisine, complemented by a fantastic view over the river.Despite the small size of the rooms, they were incredibly cozy. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the metro station and a few stops away from the bustling Kreschatik. Having numerous restaurants and the beaches of Hydropark Island within walking distance added to the convenience and charm of the hotel. The peaceful atmosphere and proximity to nature made it a delightful retreat from the city buzz. Whether traveling solo or with companions, this hidden gem is a must-visit for those seeking a blend of comfort, nature, and culture in Kiev.
